Words to Remember

This extremely moving book of poems has been created by Revd Phil Sharkey, Chaplain at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, and is the outcome of a reminiscence project, funded by a grant from RVS, to use poetry to facilitate memory recall. 

Drawn from the patients he works with and illustrated with stitched drawings images by Georgie Meadows, the poems and reflections offer a poignant insight into their worlds.  In Phil’s response poems, words of comfort and assurance are offered that echo Addenbrooke’s Core Trust Values.
